Types of Floor Coverings
We sell and install the six basic types of floor coverings: carpet, ceramic tile, stone tile, hardwood flooring and vinyl or linoleum
Carpeting is warm, safe and comfortable Carpet is the warmest and most comfortable. It is great for bedrooms and living rooms. it also is great for noise reduction especially if padding is used. But for high traffic or areas subject to spills and stains, it can be a drawback. Carpets come in all sorts of different levels and prices.
Vinyl flooring is not the cheap-looking stock it used to be.
Linoleum Can Have Any DesignIt is still a great choice for kitchens. It is easy to clean and provide some bounce to minimize breakage of dropped dishes. It is actually eco friendly since it is made from tree and other plant resins.
Hardwood is the top choice for appearance and value.It is also a good base floor to later install carpeting on top
Ceramic TileCeramic tiles are the first choice for bathrooms.
Stone TilesThis is top of the line expensive flooring and can look great. It offers the highest value to the property. Negatives are that it is heavy, loud, not very comfortable and causes more damage on falls and dropped items
